Houston, TX, May 21, 2024 – MaloneBailey, LLP, a global, mid-market, public accounting firm based in Houston, Texas, is pleased to announce the appointment of Mariano Frugone, CPA as audit partner. In his role as audit partner, Frugone will provide technical accounting and auditing consultation, utilizing his experiences and education in accounting practices and auditing standards, including US Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP), International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS), International Standards on Accounting (ISA), and US Generally Accepted Auditing Standards (GAAS). Frugone will serve in MaloneBailey’s SEC Audit Practice and will support engagement quality review as well as the quality control and training functions of the firm.
Prior to joining MaloneBailey, Frugone was the National Office Director of SEC Services at PricewaterhouseCoopers (PwC) in Houston where he served Fortune 500 energy clients by reviewing their recurrent and transactional filings, ensuring compliance with GAAP and SEC rules. He also conducted accounting and SEC reporting research and contributed to PwC publications on SEC topics. With a professional background that extends across borders, Frugone spent many years of his career in Argentina. Frugone obtained his Bachelor of Business Administration and Bachelor of Public Accounting degrees from Universidad del CEMA in Argentina.
