Houston, TX, August 2, 2021 – MaloneBailey, LLP, a public accounting firm based in Houston, Texas, announced today Joe Longoria, CPA, MBA has joined the firm as an Audit Partner.
In his new role, Longoria will oversee audit and consulting engagements for companies that are public and private from a variety of industry lines. Longoria brings over two decades of combined accounting, executive leadership and management expertise with a strong focus in healthcare, retail, construction, logistics, manufacturing, food services, solar and energy. Longoria also has a significant amount of experience with complex companies growing through acquisitions.
Longoria joined MaloneBailey in August 2021 from his own firm, Garcia & Longoria, PLLC, a full-service accounting firm based in Houston. Prior to managing his own practice, Longoria was an audit partner at PricewaterhouseCoopers (PwC) in Houston. Before his 18 year career at PwC, Longoria spent time at Mir, Fox & Rodriguez (now known as Doreen Mayhew).
Longoria received his Master of Business Administration from the University of St. Thomas, where he also received his Bachelor of Business Administration in Accounting. Joe is a licensed CPA is the state of Texas.
