Job Title: IT Audit Associate/Senior (China)

Reports to: Partners and Managers

Job Summary: 
The IT Audit Associate is expected to acquire and develop competence, skills and judgment in IT auditing procedures.

The IT Senior Auditor participates in and leads staff on IT audit engagements.

Salary Range and Benefits: Commensurate with experience, standard firm benefits

Hours Required: 40 hrs

Major Responsibilities & Duties:

  • Become oriented with Firm’s practices, policies, and culture
  • Be familiar with Firm’s procedures, forms, audit software and online research tools
  • Carry out audit execution according to IT audit objectives and plans
  • Support engagement teams to provide relevant IT support and data analysis
  • Participate in the analysis of IT system control and risk assessment, report IT information findings to the supervisors, and coordinate and follow up on the rectification of issues
  • Provide clients with consulting services related to information systems
  • Assume responsibility for various areas of multiple IT audits under supervision
  • Timely communicate to all members of engagement team and appropriate client personnel
  • Accurately document in English the execution of specific review and IT audit procedures performed in audit workpapers
  • Perform other duties as necessary
  • Participate in training activities provided by the company on GAAP, GAAS and other relevant professional standards; and new accounting standards issued by FASB

Requirements & Qualifications:

The successful candidate will possess the following basic qualifications:

  • Strong written and verbal communication skills for English and Chinese
  • Excellent analytical, organization, problem-solving skills and attention to details
  • Work well under pressure and with a team; able to meet deadline with accuracy
  • Ability to learn processes quickly and be able to apply to jobs
  • Professionalism, dependability, integrity, and trustworthiness combined with a cooperative attitude
  • Flexibility and openness to work on a variety of assignments; able to multi-task
  • Dedicated to superior client service
  • Demonstrated knowledge of basic business, technology, and audit principles/standards

The successful candidate will possess the following qualifications:

  • 0 - 2 years(associate level)/3+ years(senior level) of recent work experience as an IT auditor, owning experience in Big Data analysis is preferred
  • Basic office technology skills, with proficiency in at least two data analytics tools, such as SQL, Python, Tableau, etc.

Education and Licenses:

  • BS or MS in E-commerce, Information Technology, Computer Science and other related majors from an accredited college or university worldwide (Project 211 or Project 985 for Chinese Universities is a plus)
  • Passed CISA exam or obtained CISA license is a plus
  • Obtained accounting skill or strong willingness to learn accounting knowledge is a plus
