Audit Intern (China)

Job Title: Audit Intern(China)/ 审计(实习)/ US GAAP
Reports to: Partners and Managers
Job Summary: The Audit Associate is expected to acquire and develop competence, skills and judgment in accounting principles and auditing procedures.
Salary Range and Benefits: Commensurate with experience, standard firm benefits
Hours Required: 40 hrs 
FLSA Status: Exempt
Office: Beijing, China / Shenzhen, China
Start Date: October 2023 or January 2024

Major Responsibilities & Duties:

  • Become familiar with pronouncements of the Financial Accounting Standards Boards and AICPA
  • Obtain exposure on the types of financial statement engagements offered by the Firm
  • Assume responsibility for various segments of audits under supervision
  • Execute day to day activities of audit engagements for multiple clients
  • Interact with clients to help audit team efficiency
  • Communicate auditing matters and problems to Senior Associates, Managers and Partners
  • Perform other duties as necessary

Requirements & Qualifications:

The successful candidate will possess the following basic qualifications:

  • Strong analytical, interpersonal, oral and written communication skills
  • Ability to thrive in a dynamic team environment
  • Professionalism, dependability, integrity and trustworthiness combined with a cooperativeattitude.
  • Highly motivated self-starter with ability to multitask and complete assignments within timeconstraints and deadlines.
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office software programs, including spreadsheet programs (i.e. Excel)

The following qualifications are preferred:

  • Internship experience at a public accounting firm
  • Intention to study abroad or obtain an international CPA License
  • Demonstrated knowledge of basic business, technology, or audit principles/standards

Education and Licenses:

  • 4th year college student or already held a Bachelor’s degree, in Accounting or related field
  • Fluent English and Chinese, capable to use English in the workplace
