Houston, TX, December 4, 2023 – MaloneBailey, LLP, a global, mid-market, public accounting firm based in Houston, Texas, announced today it has launched a corporate valuation consulting practice. Additionally, MaloneBailey announced that Jamie Burress, CFA, CPA/AVB has joined the firm as a Valuation Managing Director and will lead the firm’s corporate valuation consulting practice.
Burress brings over two decades of experience that includes business and intangible asset valuation; minority interest valuation, portfolio valuation, goodwill impairment analysis; and complex securities valuations for use in financial reporting (ASC 805, ASC 350, ASC 718, and ASC 820), tax compliance and reporting (estate and gift and IRC 409A); litigation; and succession planning. Prior to joining MaloneBailey, Burress was based in the Houston office of a regional CPA firm where she led complex valuations and played a pivotal role in enhancing audit review processes. She also brings Big Four experience and has covered a wide range of industries such as energy, technology, and financial services.
