Houston, TX, August 4, 2016 – MaloneBailey, LLP, a global, mid-market, public accounting firm based in Houston, Texas, announced today that award-winning, accounting trade publication, INSIDE Public Accounting (IPA), has named the firm one of the 2016 Top 300 largest accounting firms in the nation. MaloneBailey was ranked as the 252nd largest accounting firm of the top 300 firms listed. The firm was also ranked as #38 of the top 43 largest firms in the Great Plains region, which includes firms from North Dakota, South Dakota, Minnesota, Iowa, Nebraska, Kansas, Missouri, Oklahoma, Arkansas and Texas.
The IPA Top 300 is a new ranking to the publication and is only in its second year of reporting. It is the only ranking of its kind. The ranking, published in August, takes up where the IPA 200 left off, listing the 201st through 300th largest accounting firms in the country. This list of firms, ranked by revenue, was developed by gathering information from more than 500 firms that completed IPA’s Annual Survey and Analysis of Firms. The minimum revenue to make the list this year was $8.3 million. Organic growth across all firms is up from 5.3% in 2015 to 6.3% in 2016. It was also noted that organic growth revenue among public accounting firms is the strongest it has been since the 2008 recession.
