Houston, TX, May, 17 2017 – MaloneBailey, LLP, a public accounting firm based in Houston, Texas, announced today that Leah Gonzales, CPA has been promoted from principal to audit partner. In her new role as partner, Gonzales will continue to serve clients and plan, supervise and conduct audits and quarterly reviews of public and private companies in the oil and gas, life sciences and manufacturing industries. This includes managing and supervising audits of internal controls over financial reporting of SEC companies. Gonzales also plays a key role in the firm’s quality control program as well as its in-house training initiative.

Leah has over 25 years of auditing and accounting experience. She joined MaloneBailey in 2008 as a Manager from PricewaterhouseCoopers, LLP where she served as a Manager. Gonzales was promoted to Senior Manager in 2013 and to Principal in 2015.
A native of the Philippines, Gonzales earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Accounting from the University of San Jose Recoletos in Cebu City, Philippines. Leah is a certified public accountant in the states of Texas and California.
Leah’s promotion is effective as of May 17, 2017.
